The Appalachian Trail stretches over 2100 miles from Georgia to Maine. The scenic trail traverses Newfound Gap Road (US 441) inside Great Smoky Mountains National Park at the Tennessee/North Carolina state line. A tranquil stroll along the Appalachian Trail awaits the adventurous hiker at Newfound Gap.

Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
