Artist's Description
Taken in a Himba village in the Kunene region of north west Namibia. The Himba woman, in her traditional adornments, is sitting in the small mud hut in which she sleeps, preparing to burn incense. She is lit by natural light from the doorway.
Some digital edge enhancement has been applied in post-processing to achieve a textured effect.
